Valentine's Day 2009 - Our Wedding Anniversay!

February 14, 3 years and counting! Its hard to believe that three years ago we were married. My, how time has flown by. Of course today being Valentine's Day and our anniversary, special surprises were in order. Amber surprised Joe with yummy breakfast in bed. (Last year it was the other way around). Since we were flat broke... a lifestyle that we have gotten accustom to, the surprises had to come straight from the heart and hand-made. After our yummy breakfast, Joe surprised Amber with a digtally restored and composited wedding picture of the two of us in front of the Salt Lake Temple, where we got married. We had pictures, but since we didn't have a professional photographer, we didn't really have a great picture of us in front of the temple. There were a bunch of "ok" pictures of us and of the temple. Joes talent in profession of graphic artist and photo restoration and compositing skills come in handy in times like these. The picture looks great. Amber almost cried.

We spent the day relaxing and enjoying each others company, and making home-made lemon meringue pie... after a couple of quick trips to the grocery store. We had some pie the other night at Big Bob Gibsons BBQ and had the best lemon pie. It made us hungry for more. We capped off the day with dinner at Terranova's Italian restaurant. It was really good, especally the bread and the herb mix. We have to figure out what herbs they use so we can make our own. Here's to another year!
